The Penny Drops!

It was back in early 1999 that the idea of the UKagriculture.com website was first developed. Its purpose; educating and explaining agriculture so that the public could have confidence in the industry and its role in the countryside. From modest beginnings in those early years the site has grown consistently, focussing on “farming and the countryside, what’s going on and why”. I therefore welcome the NFU’s campaigning activities that for 2007 will be directed towards a single key objective: “to explain to consumers, opinion-formers and politicians - Why Farming Matters.”
