Centre for Rural Research - Exeter UniversityEstablished for over 50 years, the Centre for Rural Research (formerly the Agricultural Economics Unit) undertakes academic research across a wide range of rural issues. The Centre is a part of the University of Exeter School of Geography, Archaeology and Earth Resources and is located in Lafrowda House.

The Centre's greatest asset is its more than 25 members of academic staff, research fellows, investigational officers and support personnel. All play a part in the Centre’s major role of contributing to the educational requirements and information needs of agriculture, the food industry, local authorities and rural community and interest groups throughout south west England, and in advancing the study of food, environment and rural issues regionally, nationally and internationally.
