The College's Mission is to provide inspiring and challenging education and training opportunities to equip all learners with the knowledge and skills to succeed in life and work, particularly in subjects relating to modern land based industries, conservation and the rural economy.

Kingston Maurwood offers a huge variety of full and part-time work based courses in subjects including agriculture, horticulture, floristry, countryside management, outdoor recreation and leisure, animal care, veterinary nursing, equine studies, business, secretarial and computer skills. As a partner college of Bournemouth University they are able to provide university-validated courses.

The 300-hectare (750-acre) college estate includes a commercial farm, laboratories, library, practical training areas, workshops, computer-aided learning resources and an animal care unit.
